Timberland Tires
www.TimberlandTires.com
After seeing a display for Timberland Tires at the 2014 SEMA show, I became curious about the company and what they were looking to do with this new tire concept. I learned that it is a collaboration between tire company, Omni-United and lifestyle brand, Timberland.
The tires are designed from the outset to be recycled with a much higher amount of rubber being extracted and processed as crumb rubber which will be utilized by Timberland into the manufacture of new boot and shoe soles. This process ensures that Timberland Tires do not end up rotting in a landfill and doing irreversible damage to the environment. I made contact with their VP of Global Marketing & Licensing for the Timberland Tires brand and let him know how intrigued I was with the brand. After becoming more enthusiastic about
wanting to be involved, I took it upon myself to order a set of tires for my personal truck. I added the company graphics and began doing anything I could to share the brands information of tire sustainability to anyone that would listen. I assisted them with signing up additional authorized installation facilities and used my personal social media platforms to help boost the company profile and reach.
I was fortunate enough to also be invited to several of Timberland corporate marketing events. This allowed me to meet more people and see how others across the country was perceiving the brand. Armed with Timberland Tires brochures and stickers I traveled to automotive events, environmental awareness group meetings and several locations in other states to try and shed more light on the problem of tire landfills and illegal dumping. This lead to more opportunities to introduce people to Timberland Tires.
I also used my connections with several aftermarket automotive companies, most notably Eric Vengroff & Sean Hyland of Sean Hyland Motorsports in Canada to assist Timberland and Omni with the acquisition and build of a completely customized Urban Warrior Defender as use in their booth for SEMA 2015. The vehicle garnered additional attention and an impressive amount of foot traffic into the booth. The vehicle was also later on display with Dub magazine during the LA Auto Show thanks to Myles Kovacs, Owner of Dub.
I have documented the impact several of my targeted social media shares have had on the reach of the brand with a significant increase in traffic and interaction coming directly from my accounts. But please understand, even though I was in essence an influence marketer and brand ambassador for Timberland Tires, I was never employed or compensated by the company.
This was all done on my own for almost two years...
almost 20k impressions and over 800 total engagements.
Of the social media done posts done across all platforms for
Timberland Tires, these two posts by my Total Image account
are #1 and #2 when engagement and impressions were measured.
Total Image worked with SAI of Dallas on an outrageous HUMMER H2 for BooKooEnergy Drink

BooKoo wanted a vehicle to be as energizing as their products.
To break into the very competitive energy drink market,
BooKoo wanted to make a BIG splash.
The H2 was completely customized with 20" offroad wheels and tires, suede headliner, 10" DVD monitors in each front headrest & fully customizable LED lighting. For the audio, SAI used Pioneer electronics,
a full arsenal of Kicker components and subs and over 5,000 watts of Kicker amplification.
This is by far, a very loud vehicle!
Once it left SAI, we teamed up with Traffic Grafix for the external wrap.
An outstanding promotional vehicle comes to life!
Total Image contacted Thunder Audio to create a unique audio system for a vehicle to be given away to a luckly listener of 97.9 "The Beat"

Just because the vehicle was to be given away, Thunder Audio wanted to
make sure that the audio portion of the vehicle would be memorable.
The Dallas Desperados looked to
Total Image to update
their Ford Excursion marketing vehicle!

By far, our most recognized vehicle has been the Excursion that the Dallas Cowboys contacted us to customize for their AFL team,
The Dallas Desperados. This vehicle project lasted three + years and during that time, the vehicle was torn down and completely rebuilt twice. For this, we enlisted the help of several Dallas area custom installers, several aftermarket companies and two different vehicle wrap firms.
A big thank you to Ronnie Davis, Jason Schuhard, Mobile Kreations, SAI of Dallas, Audio Depot, Toyo tires, Lexani wheels, Electric Step, Super Lift, Game Stop, XM Satellite Radio, Alpine Electronics, EA Sports, Skinz Wraps & Traffic Grafix.
Here's what the Desperados had to say about
working with Total Image...
